7 Tips to Reduce Covid-19 Anxiety
7 Tips to Reduce Covid-19 Anxiety
Here are 7 tips we’re reminding ourselves of daily that we wanted to share with you lovely angels. These 7 tips can help you build a shield of positivity and create a place of happiness and peace in our homes!
1. Maintain connections with those you love and take the opportunity to keep in contact with someone you haven’t heard from lately.
Isolation can be, well… isolating! Let’s use this opportunity to keep in touch with those around us via phone, letter, message or virtual hang out!
2. Focus on things you can control, such as your thoughts and behaviour.
Are your thoughts serving you? Make sure you fill your mind and soul with kindness and make it a lovely place to be.
3. Make sure you’re getting your news updates from reputable sources
It’s easy to log onto the socials and read whatever Sandra down the street’s mum has written, but make sure you’re only getting your news updates from sources you trust (…not that you don’t trust Sandra down the street!)
4. Control how often you check the news
Maybe set a time in your day: (eg 6pm-6.30pm) where you catch up on the day’s news. It’s important to stay informed but also to make space to do lovely things that make you happy.
5. Make your behaviour calm and peaceful to help calm those around you
When you act panicked, it can panic those around you. Showing positive behaviour to you loved ones will help them keep a positive outlook and also create a calm space in your home.
6. Use experience and logic to guide you, rather than fear and panic.
Make sure you use your wisdom to help guide you through uncertainty. The unfamiliar can lead to fear, so it’s important to take a moment and use your experience alongside the guidance given to us to help navigate (and shine) through the unknown.
7. Remind yourself regularly that we will get through this.
It’s important to identify, acknowledge and replace overwhelming feelings with feelings of calm. The world needs positivity right now and you can be part of that beautiful light. We will get through this and humankind (and human kindness!) will survive.
We hope that you can use the above 7 tips to keep you sparkling through this time.
Sending lots of love and light.
