I don’t know about you but everyone on my Instagram feed seems to be managing a full workout most days… I most certainly am not!
Some days I feel sluggish and just don’t fancy it. Other day’s I’m just too busy (I don’t understand how?!).
One thing I have found that is working for me is a short little burst of yoga every day. I have no set time and no set routine about when I do this. I simply find the moment that feels right for me. (Sometimes thats 8am, sometimes it’s 8pm)
I’m currently working through 30 days of yoga with Adriene on youtube (click here to be linked to the playlist) whose videos are anywhere from 15-30(ish) minutes. I know I spend longer than that on my phone so I know I can spare 30 minutes!
There’s been some days that I haven’t felt like doing it and that’s okay, I haven’t given myself a hard time and I’ve just resumed the next day. I can tell you though, the days that I haven’t fancied it and have done it anyway are the days that I have ended up feeling better!
Yoga is a great way of practicing mindfulness and checking in with yourself whilst working out your entire body. Don’t worry if you’re a complete beginner too, the course is a nice pace and slowly builds up your flexibility in a slow and steadily. I’m certainly a lot closer to touching my toes than I was 14 days ago!!! (One day I’ll get there, one day…)
Hope you enjoy lovely ones!
